For most visitors, October–November and March–April are the easiest periods for Kathmandu sightseeing.
Autumn usually brings clearer post-monsoon skies, while spring brings warmer conditions.
Kathmandu can, however, be visited throughout the year because most of its core experiences: heritage sites, temples, markets, museums and food: are not dependent on trekking conditions.
