Dubai Visa for Nepali Citizens
This guide provides independent travel information. Check current requirements for your passport, destination and transit route with the relevant government authority. That authority decides applications and entry. Nepal Meets World does not process applications or guarantee approval.
Short answer: Nepali ordinary-passport holders should normally arrange an appropriate UAE entry visa before travelling for tourism.
The UAE’s June 2026 expansion of certain visa-on-arrival facilities added Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Kenya and South Africa under specified conditions; Nepal was not included in that announced expansion.

Dubai is part of the United Arab Emirates.
You need permission to enter the UAE, not a separate national “Dubai visa”.
Common tourist visa durations
UAE authorities provide visitor and tourist visa categories with different permitted stay periods. Current ICP guidance refers to 30-, 60- and 90-day visitor arrangements depending on category.
Your actual visa will state the period granted.
Typical documents
Prepare:
- passport valid for at least six months;
- passport photograph;
- return/onward travel evidence;
- accommodation;
- health insurance where required;
- financial or sponsor evidence where applicable; and
- other documents requested for the selected visa route.
The UAE ICP identifies passport validity, travel ticket and health insurance among common visitor requirements.
How applications are made
Depending on visa type, applications may be handled through:
- UAE immigration smart services;
- a licensed tourism establishment;
- an airline or authorised provider where eligible;
- a qualifying sponsor; or
- another authorised channel.
Do not transfer money to an unknown social-media “visa agent” without confirming the operator.
Processing time
Processing depends on visa type, completeness and authority checks.

Visa approval is not entry approval
An issued entry permit allows you to travel for admission consideration. Immigration authorities retain final authority at the border.
Common refusal or delay risks
- inconsistent documents;
- unclear travel purpose;
- poor passport scan;
- expired passport validity;
- missing return travel;
- unresolved immigration history; and
- false or altered documents.
